PowderAdd™ 9085 by Lubrizol is a highly efficient stable PTFE-based additive texturing agent. It is suitable for powder coatings at low addition rates. It offers high abrasion- & scratch resistance and uniform fine surface texture.
- It It provides texturizing and matting efficiency to formulations.
- It complies with the ban on PFOA* under the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs).
- It should be mixed with other components before extrusion for example using drum mixers.
- The recommended addition level is 0.5 – 1.5% to the total formulation.
- PowderAdd™ 9085 has shelf life of 5 years, and storage temperature should not be exceeded by 30°C.
