Supplied byLubrizol- Last Updated on Jun 22, 2025

Lanco™ A 1602 by Lubrizol is a micronized amorphous amide wax. Exhibits improved color stability due to an especially low amine value. Compatible with alkyds, nitrocellulose, 2K polyurethanes and acrylics. Offers good sandability, good gloss control, improved surface slip and matting properties. Possesses a soft & silky feel, good thermal stability, low melt viscosity and homogeneous particle size distribution. It improves the processing of polypropylene and PVC resins and improves thixotropic properties of asphalt, bitumen, paraffin and hydrocarbon resins. Recommended dosage level of Lanco™ A 1602 is 0.1-2.5% to improve surface finish and 1-5% to provide matting.
