Humectant® GRB3 by Lubrizol is a solution of low molecular weight polyols. It is a VOC free humectant designed to improve the re-dispersibility of the pigment pastes in polar liquid media. It reduces the drying time for certain specific wet-edge applications when used at higher dosage levels. It can be used during dispersion to help improve open time and freeze/thaw stability. Recommended for water-based inks, paints and pigment pastes. Humectant® GRB3 has a shelf life of 1 year with a dosage level of 5%.
