Carbocure™ 7000 by Lubrizol is a low viscous, liquid matting agent designed for radiation curable coatings. Exhibits improved water beading capabilities, stable viscosity and excellent tactile properties. Provides a smooth, uniformly matte appearance with a soft touch and low haze. Provides for easy handling of the finished printed product, surface smoothness and wood grain enhancement. Suitable for high efficiency production environments as it is solvent-free and cross-linkable. It can be incorporated into the coating at any stage of the process by using low speed mixers. Compatible with polyester, epoxy, polyether and urethane. It is ideal for high-end printing inks and UV coatings. Recommended dosage level of Carbocure™ 7000 is 3-10%. It has a shelf life of 360 days.
