Eco-Rez™ 9520 E by Lawter is a phenol and formaldehyde free rosin resin. It contains >80% renewable content, significantly higher than modified phenolic. Exhibits medium solubility combined with a medium viscosity in vegetable oil systems. Offers low tack, excellent grinding properties, low yellowing and excellent anti-misting properties. It is easy to de-ink. Eco-Rez™ 9520 E shows excellent gel response and wider water window. Used in offset, web offset, heatset, coldset, sheetfed, gloss offset, grinding varnishes, low odor inks, over print varnishes as well as in phenol-free and formaldehyde free inks.
