LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ S8

LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ S8 by Laviosa Minerals is a high performance, highly purified, bentonite clay, organically modified with a quaternary alkyl ammonium compound. Acts as a rheology modifier. It is suitable for use in solvent borne systems of low to medium polarity. Offers excellent thixotropic effect, sag control, levelling and anti-settling effect. It shows good performance in aromatic and aliphatic solvents and resins like alkyds, epoxy esters, polyacrylics, polyesters & polyurethanes. LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ S8 is recommended for industrial & anti-corrosive paints, automotive primers, coil coatings, architectural paints, primers and adhesives. Recommended for primers & printing inks (at dosage level 0.5% - 1.0%), house & industrial paints (at dosage level 0.2% - 0.6%) and for applications with strong anti-sagging properties (at dosage level up to 3.0%). It has a shelf life of 36 months.
