LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ S7

LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ S7 by Laviosa Minerals is a high performance, bentonite clay modified with quaternary alkyl ammonium compound. Acts as a rheology modifier for solvent borne systems of medium to high polarity. It offers excellent thixotropic effect, sag control and excellent levelling. It prevents pigments from long-term storage settling. Provides good performance in solvents like aromatics, cellosolve, acetates, ketones, glycols and alcohols. Shows compatibility with resins like epoxies, nitrocellulose, polyacrylates, polesters, polyurethanes and polyvinyls. LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ S7 is suitable for anti-corrosive paints, antifoling paints, industrial finishes, foundry mold paints, printing inks and adhesives. Typical applications include primers & printing inks (at dosage level 0.5% - 1.0%), house & industrial paints (at dosage level 0.2% - 0.6%) and for applications with strong anti-sagging properties (at dosage level up to 3.0%). It has a shelf life of 36 months.
