LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ B8 by Laviosa Minerals is a bentonite clay organically modified with a quaternary alkyl ammonium compound. Acts as a rheology modifier. It offers anti-settling & thixotropic effect, sag control and excellent levelling. Shows good performance in aromatic and aliphatic solvents and resins like alkyds, epoxy esters, polyacrylics, polyesters and polyurethanes. It is designed for solvent borne systems of low to medium polarity. LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ B8 is suitable for industrial paints, anti-corrosive paints, automotive primers, coil coatings and architectural paints. Recommended applications include house & industrial paints (at dosage level 0.2% - 0.6%), primers & printing inks (at dosage level 0.5% - 1.0%), and for applications with strong anti-sagging properties (at dosage level up to 3.0%). The shelf life of this product is 36 months.
