Preventol® P 72 W by LANXESS is VOC- & solvent-free, preservative based on bronopol. It is effective against a broad spectrum of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria with the inclusion of sulfate-reducing species. It is distinguished by a relatively rapid onset of action. Therefore, microbial growth and release of enzymes is effectively inhibited in paints. The shelf life of Preventol® P 72 W is 2 years.
