Preventol® BMO by LANXESS is VOC-free, in-can preservative based on isothiazolinones. It is used for the preservation of water-borne paints and coatings. It offers broad spectrum of activity that gives reliable protection against bacteria, mold and yeast. It shows alkaline stability up to pH 10 and processing temperature up to about 60°C. Preventol® BMO possesses good compatibility, low salt content and free of bivalent metal ions. This frost-resistant additive is formaldehyde- and aldehyde-free. The shelf life of this product is one year.
