IPEL® FBP 440 by LANXESS is a microbicide based on pyrithione zinc aqueous dispersion. It is developed to protect the dry film surfaces against deterioration caused by algae, fungi and yeast. It also exhibits bactericidal properties depending on the dosage levels. It offers excellent performance and broad spectrum activity. It possesses low odor, low VOC, excellent stability and easy handling. It is effective at wide pH range. It offers leaching resistance which ensures preservation under extreme conditions. IPEL® FBP 440 is suitable for paints, coatings and other aqueous compositions. The recommended dosage level is 0.5-2.0%. The shelf life of this product is 24 months.
