IPEL® FBP-411 ZN by LANXESS is a broad spectrum microbicide based on carbamates and zinc oxides. It is designed for the effective protection of solid formulations & surfaces against fungi and algae. It is very stable when exposed to UV radiation, alkaline pH and high temperatures. It is free from heavy metals, formaldehydes and phenolic compounds. It does not cause yellowing of the applied product. IPEL® FBP-411 ZN is suitable for aqueous- & non-aqueous paints and coatings. It has excellent compatibility with most components requiring non-liquid microbicide. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.0%. The shelf life is 24 months.
