IPEL® FAP-711 by LANXESS acts as a broad spectrum algaecide and fungicide. It is based on isothiazolinones, halogenated and nitrogenated derivatives. It is specially designed for the dry film protection of external coatings against microbiological attacks from fungi and algae. It possesses excellent UV compatibility and stability. It does not cause yellowing of paints. It is compatible with PVA and acrylic resins. It is free from heavy metals and phenolic compounds. IPEL® FAP-711 is suitable for solvent-based paints, lacquers and varnishes. Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.0%. The shelf life is 24 months.
