DISPARLON® NS-30 by Kusumoto Chemicals is a blend of polyamide and polyolefin waxes dispersed in xylene. Acts as a rheology modifier. Imparts rheology by forming a strong and sustained network structure with pigments as well as fillers without significantly affecting viscosity. Possesses excellent spraying and brushing properties due to outstanding shear thinning characteristics. Has low brush and spray viscosity with better sag resistance than other thixotropic agents. Exhibits long lasting effectiveness as anti-sagging/settling agent. Prevents hard caking of heavy pigments and fillers. DISPARLON® NS-30 imparts superior color uniformity in coatings using mixed color pigments. Non-seeding with excellent shelf stability. Used in high solids pigmented systems such as epoxy maintenance coatings. Addition levels for anti-settling is 0.5-3.0% by weight and for anti-sagging is 2.0-5.0% by weight.
