Supplied byKusumoto Chemicals- Last Updated on Jul 21, 2025

DISPARLON® KS-273N by Kusumoto Chemicals is an amine salt of polyester acid and a non-silicone high molecular weight surfactant. It has outstanding anti-flooding/floating properties and also acts as a surface modifier. Promotes pigment wetting and helps in stabilizing multi-pigmented systems. Improves floating & silking by eliminating Benard Cell formation and recoatability on overbaked films. Offers improved leveling, which prevents pinholes & craters and adhesion to substrates & primers. Shows good compatibility with electrostatic spray coatings. Can be used in a broad range of solvent-based coatings including automotive coatings, baking enamels, architectural and floor coatings. It is particularly recommended for acrylic melamine and alkyd melamine systems and is also effective in epoxy and urethane floor coatings. Typical dosage of DISPARLON® KS-273N ranges from 0.4 to 1.2% by weight of finished paint.
