ARBOCEL® P 4000 X

ARBOCEL® P 4000 X by JRS Rettenmaier is a microcellulose in the form of a dispersible powder. It acts as thickener. By using low shear energy (dissolver, kneader), it is possible to convert it into a stable gel, which improves the rheology of water-based systems. It offers an insoluble 3D-network after activation which leads to outstanding stabilization and anti-settling properties. Exhibits heat resistance and excellent thixotropic behavior which makes it suitable for sprayable or pumpable applications. ARBOCEL® P 4000 X is especially suitable for systems with higher electrolyte levels and shows no post-thickening effects.
