CHEMK UV-99-2

CHEMK UV-99-2 by Jiangsu Chemk is a liquid UV absorber based on hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole. It offers very high thermal stability and environmental permanence, making it suitable for systems exposed to high bake cycles and/or extreme environmental conditions. Its broad UV absorption provides efficient protection to light-sensitive base coats or substrates such as wood and plastics.

• It is designed to provide the high performance and durability requirements of automotive and industrial high-quality finishes.
• CHEMK UV-99-2 is used in trade sales paints, especially wood stains and dark color paint.
• It is also suitable for general industrial applications, and high-bake systems (coil coatings, solar energy and solar membranes).
• Its performance is enhanced when combined with HALS stabilizers such as LS-292 or LS-123, improving durability of coatings and preventing gloss reduction, cracking, chalking, color change, blistering, and delamination.
