IZELPOL 19 XN 76 is an oil-free, hydroxyl-bearing unsaturated polyester. It can be used as a polyol component in the formulation of light-fast one-component polyurethane baking coatings with blocked aliphatic polyisocyanates. It is recommended for can coatings. It is designed to be used as a co-reactant for blocked polyisocyanates in coil coating applications. IZELPOL 19 XN 76 can be combined with aliphatic polyisocyanates, that yields one component polyurethane coil coatings. It is compatible with HMMM resins and benzoguanamine. It offers balanced hardness/flexibility ratio, good resistance against scratching & abrasion as well as excellent UV resistance. It can also be combined with other blocked isocyanates and HMMM-type amino resins. It is suitable for basecoats and clearcoats for exterior can coatings and coil coating applications for backcoat. The dosage level of the grade is 0.1-1%. The shelf life of the product is 1 year.
