Thetawet™ FS-8400

Thetawet™ FS-8400 by Innovative Chemical Technologies is a 20% actives, water soluble, amphoteric fluorosurfactant in a glycol stabilized aqueous solution. It offers excellent wetting benefits for low energy surfaces with wetting of difficult to wet surfaces such as plastics, oily substrates, waxy surfaces and provides excellent surface tension reduction to 16 dynes/cm. This low VOC surfactant is ideal for use in hard water (including brine systems) as it does not salt out and maintains an excellent degree of foaming even in challenging environments. It has an ability to create a modest but stable foam. It performs well and is stable in severe thermal environments. It is effective in high or low pH, hard or soft water. It is used in coatings application. It is based on short-chain fluorochemical technology which meets the goal of the US EPA 2010/2015 PFOA Stewardship Program. Recommended dosage level is 0.01-0.5%. Thetawet™ FS-8400 has a shelf life of 12 months.
