Thetawet™ FS-8388 by Innovative Chemical Technologies is a VOC-free, high foaming, anionic fluorosurfactant in a low viscosity aqueous solution. It acts as an excellent wetting agent with exceptional surface tension reduction for wetting low energy substrates such as plastic, metal and glass. It also acts as leveling additive in aqueous wax emulsions. It is non-APEO, 40% active, water soluble product with stable foam, effective at low end use concentrations. It is used in paints, coatings, industrial finishes and other VOC sensitive applications. applications. It is based on short-chain fluorochemical technology which meets the goal of the US EPA 2010/2015 PFOA Stewardship Program. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.3%. Thetawet™ FS-8388 has a shelf life of 12 months.
