Thetaguard™ FA-1000 by Innovative Chemical Technologies is a water-based fluorinated polymer. It functions as a wetting agent for printing inks, varnishes and polar solvent-based coatings. It offers improved dirt/soil pick-up resistance (DPR), improved wash durability and cleanability of coatings. Provides oil repellency to latex paints especially flats and eggshells. It does not interfere with recoat adhesion or water repellency. It is based on short-chain fluorochemical technology which meets the goal of the US EPA 2010/2015 PFOA Stewardship Program. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.3%. Thetaguard™ FA-1000 has a shelf life of 12 months.
