OptiGloss™ XD

OptiGloss™ XD by Imerys is an ultrafine, hydrous kaolin extender. This natural china clay, opacifying agent allows paint manufacturers to significantly reduce raw material cost of high gloss paints. It enhances TiO₂ efficiency through improved spacing. It is used universally to extend both solvent- and water-based systems, while maintaining key properties such as gloss at a high level. OptiGloss™ XD is suitable for architectural paints, can- & coil- coatings.
