Hydrite® Flat DS by Imerys is a spray dried, fine particle size hydrous kaolin. It exhibits chemical inertness, and offers improved spacing of TiO2 particles in a paint film and improved opacity. It is a naturally occurring hydrated aluminum silicate with lamellar or platy particle shape. Hydrite® Flat DS is recommended for interior or exterior flat to eggshell latex paints, latex primer, textured & powder coatings and exterior stuccos.
