Diphenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)-phosphine oxide. Acts as a highly efficient free radical type I photoinitiator. Offers low yellowing and low odor. Used to initiate the UV polymerization of styrene-based unsaturated polyesters and acrylic resins. Particularly recommended for pigmented coatings and white paints.
