METHOCEL™ E19 Food Grade by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a surface modifier. It is a high-quality grade which provides a low viscosity for high binding applications. It acts as a protective colloid and pigment suspension. It offers improved adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity and rheology control. It exhibits high salt tolerance, water-binding properties and a wide range of pH stability. It allows gelation and reversible gelation with heating. It possesses good film properties such as high tensile, strength, and elongation. METHOCEL™ E19 Food Grade enhances workability and water retention for construction coatings as well as inks applications. It is compliant with US, JP, EUR Pharmacopeia and U.S. FDA GRAS.
