METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium

METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a surface modifier and thickener based on methylcellulose. It is a water-soluble, non-ionic, cellulose ether polymer. It acts as a protective colloid and pigment suspension. It improves adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity, wet tack and fast dry properties. It provides crosslink-ability for high retentive gels and prevents friction through high lubricity. It exhibits good film properties such as high tensile, strength and elongation. It shows gelation, reversible gelation with heating and water-binding properties. It improves workability and water retention for construction coatings. METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium is also used in inks.
