METHOCEL™ A15LV

METHOCEL™ A15LV by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a surface modifier and thickener for water-based formulations. It is based on high purity and non-ionic methylcellulose (MC). It acts as a binder for organic and inorganic, protective colloid and pigment suspension when low viscosity is required. It offers gelation, reversible gelation with heating and a wide range of pH stability. It enhances adhesion, spreadability and homogeneity. It is cross-linkable for high retentive gels and establishes a firm gel texture. It exhibits excellent film properties such as high tensile, strength and elongation. METHOCEL™ A15LV improves workability and water retention for construction coatings and is also used in inks.
