HALOX® FLASH-X® 330 by ICL is an effective, nitrite-free, low odor, liquid flash rust inhibitor. It is used in the manufacturing of water-based protective coatings for inhibition of in-can rusting for unlined metal containers. It is recommended for high gloss systems and does not detract from gloss.
- It is added to water jet-blasting solutions to provide temporary protection prior to applying the protective coating.
- HALOX® FLASH-X® 330 is easy to use and can be incorporated at any stage of coating manufacture.
- It can also be easily and effectively post added to any coating system.
- The dosage level for flash-rusting application is 0.5-2% and for in-can rusting is 1.5-2.5%.
- It has a shelf life of 24 months.
