HALOX® FLASH-X® 152 by ICL is an ultra-low-VOC flash rust inhibitor based on anodic passivating oxyanion. It is effective in preventing general flash rusting and weld seam corrosion. It is highly effective at relatively low loading levels as compared to other high and low VOC flash rust inhibitors.
- It is compatible with a variety of water-based resins without causing film sensitivity or package stability problems which can occur with other flash rust additives.
- It is heavy metal-, APEO-, and HAPS free.
- HALOX® FLASH-X® 152 is designed for industrial and architectural paints.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5% to stop flash rust and 1.0-2% to stop galvanic corrosion.
