VersaCure® RAC 9059 LC by Huntsman is a low-viscosity, solvent-free, phenalkamine hardener based on cashew nut shell liquid. Phenalkamine hardeners are epoxy curing agents that provide rapid curing at ambient and low temperatures up to 5°C. It can cure in presence of moisture. It provides a non-critical mixing ratio and good adhesion to poorly prepared surfaces. VersaCure® RAC 9059 LC shows high chemical resistance, especially acid and alkalis. Recommended for marine-, industrial maintenance-, pipe relining-, tank- and heavy-duty anti-corrosive coatings. Recommended mix ratio with RoyOxy RAR 928 is 50 phr. It has a shelf life of at least 6 months.
