Matrimid® 5292 A-2 by Huntsman is a bismaleimide. It is used with Matrimid® 5292 B to optimize processing properties. It provides high heat performance and maintains good mechanical properties at ambient and elevated temperatures. It also offers good toughness and excellent humidity resistance. It is suitable for use in coating applications. Matrimid® 5292 A-2 has a shelf life of 5 years.
