VeoVa™ 10 Vinyl Ester by Hexion is a synthetic, saturated, monocarboxylic acid of highly branched structure containing ten carbon atoms. Used as a modifying comonomer in the preparation of vinyl acetate.
- It is hydrophobic and UV stable grade.
- Exhibits good alkali-, chemical-, UV resistance, water repellency, low surface tension, reduced water absorption, good outdoor durability and improved adhesion on non-polar substrates.
- It offers good reactivity with ethylene, acrylate and methacrylate monomers.
- It imparts a combination of flexibility (medium to low Tg) and is suitable for coatings for polyolefins.
- Recommended for anti-corrosion paints and varnishes
- VeoVa™ 10 Vinyl Ester is designed for redispersible powders, interior and exterior decorative paints, wood-, industrial- and elastomeric roof coatings.
- It has a shelf life of 3 years.
