SIOResin® 521

SIOResin® 521 by Guangzhou SIO New Material is a high-performance nano silicone resin. It is non-toxic, harmless, waterproof and oil-repellent. It contains special nano silicone resin, anti-graffiti additives and environmentally friendly mixed solvents. It offers excellent UV resistance and self-cleaning properties (similar to how dust on leaves is naturally washed away by rain).

• It features superior chemical resistance, acid- and alkali-resistance, anti-aging properties, oil-proof capabilities, anti-graffiti protection and long service life.
• It enhances the surface with antibacterial, mildew-resistant, moisture-proof, stain-resistant and waterproof while also increasing hardness and gloss.
• It offers excellent stain resistance, exhibiting strong hydrophobicity (water contact angle ~110°) and oleophobicity (oil contact angle ~30°), ensuring anti-fouling and easy cleaning.
• It is durable and wear-resistant, forming a transparent protective film on surfaces with a pencil hardness of ≥9H and an adhesion rating of 0.
• It is composed of pure silicone, providing anti-aging, non-yellowing and weather-resistant properties, withstands boiling water, 300°C high temperatures, polar organic solvents (alcohol, PMA, thinner), vinegar, red wine, and cola.
• It maintains high transparency with additional anti-fingerprint properties.
• It enables easy application through a single-component, moisture-curing system with moderate viscosity and a balanced curing speed.
• It is environmentally safe, characterized by low odor, non-toxicity and non-flammability.
• It is suitable for use on inert and hard-to-bond organic and inorganic surfaces, including thermoplastic plastics, advertising topcoats, powder coatings, gloss coatings, GRC, stone, wood, metal and painted surfaces.
• It easily removes ink marks from pens, allowing for repeated cleaning without surface damage.
• It restores and refurbishes aged coatings, eliminates swirl marks and renews old surfaces to a like-new condition.
