Kenflex® A POWDER 95/5

Kenflex® A POWDER 95/5 supplied by FARRL is chemically a dimethyl naphthaline tetramer supplied as a dry-liquid powder with 95% active material absorbed by silica. It acts as a plasticizer in high-quality elastomeric mixtures, shows high-temperature resistance, does not migrate and is not extractable. It exhibits good processability, substrate wetting, melt flow and demoldability. It shows excellent physical properties of the compound even at high dosage (peroxide-cured systems excluded). Kenflex® A POWDER 95/5 is mainly used in highly filled, high-quality elastomeric compounds, especially in chemical-resistant linings. Well-known applications include butyl rubber, polysulfide, polar thermoplastics (not requiring UV resistance). It has a shelf life of minimum 2 years after production.
