TEGO® Variplus AP by Evonik is ketone-aldehyde condensation resin. Acts as a co-binder, a hard resin solution for solvent-borne, solvent-free and radiation-curing formulations. It provides viscosity reduction, pigment wetting and adhesion improvement (metal, plastics). Offers improved adhesion on aluminum and steel. Exhibits improved hardness and gloss. Shows compatibility with polyester resin and imparts good resistance to mineral oil. It can be used as pigment concentrate resins for the most diverse pigments which enables very good gloss to be obtained at very high pigment loading. Designed for industrial, wood, furniture, architectural and leather coatings. TEGO® Variplus AP can be stored for 12 months.
