Dynasylan® AMEO by Evonik acts as an adhesion promoter, crosslinking agent and surface modifier. It is a bifunctional silane possessing a reactive primary amino group and hydrolyzable ethoxysilyl groups.
  • It can bind chemically to both inorganic materials (glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers).
  • Offers improved mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and modulus of elasticity as well as improved electrical properties such as dielectric constant and volume resistivity.
  • It provides moisture- and corrosion resistance, better filler dispersion, increased filler loading and rheological behavior (reduction in viscosity, newtonian behavior).
  • Dynasylan® AMEO is suitable as an additive in paints and coatings, for improving adhesion to the substrate.
  • It is also used as a primer for glass and metal.
  • Designed for polymers such as epoxy, phenolic, furan and melamine resins, polyurethanes, PA, PBT, PC, EVA, modified PP, PVB, PVAC, PVC, PS, nitril Kautschuk, polyester, acrylates and silicones.
  • It has a shelf life of 1 year.
