Dynasylan® 6490 by Evonik acts as an adhesion promoter, dispersion and hydrophobation agent in mineral filled compounds. It is a vinyl silane concentrate (oligomeric siloxane). It is an excellent compatibilizer between inorganic fillers (e.g. kaolin, MDH, ATH) and organic polymers (e.g. EPDM, EVA, PE). Dynasylan® 6490 is suitable for filler and pigment coatings. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
