DYNAPOL® CATALYST 1203

DYNAPOL® CATALYST 1203 by Evonik is highly reactive, neutral platinum catalyst. Used to cure vinyl-functional silicone polymers with SiH-functional silicone crosslinkers for the manufacture of addition curing formulation such as 2-part silicone formulation for coatings. Allows addition of very small quantities. DYNAPOL® CATALYST 1203 usage level from 10-50 ppm in a formulation. Increasing the concentration leads to higher crosslinking rates and thus to shorter pot lives. It should be observed that the complexes react sensitively to a number of substances (e. g. sulphur, heavy metal and amino compounds, some PU and PVC types).
