DEGACRYL® HS 4792 L by Evonik is an organic solution of an acrylic polymer based on ethyl methacrylate. It acts as a binder for heat seal lacquers, especially easy-opening systems. It allows sealing of aluminum foil to PVC and polystyrene
for food packaging applications.
- It is compatible with nitrocellulose, cellulose acetobutyrate, various vinyl resins and most plasticizers.
- It shows incompatibility with most alkyd, urea and melamine resins.
