Ancamine® 2608 by Evonik is a modified cycloaliphatic polyamine designed for use as an ambient curing agent for liquid epoxy resin. It is also used as accelerator for other curing agents. It is free of nonyl phenol. Offers fast cure and development of properties at ambient and low temperature. Provides good to moderate resistance to carbamation and waterspotting. Exhibits good chemical resistance and low viscosity. It is used in industrial flooring applications such as self-levelling floors, mortar floors, high solids and solvent free coatings application. Recommended dosage level of Ancamine® 2608 is 50 phr with EEW=190. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
