AIRASE® 5500 Defoamer

AIRASE® 5500 Defoamer by Evonik is structured siloxane-based defoamer. It is solvent-, and alkyl phenol ethoxylate (APE)-free and suitable for a wide range of water-based applications. It is designed for applications where good defoaming is required with good long-term persistency and film compatibility. It contributes zero VOC and has improved pH stability. It is very suitable for clear and pigmented formulations. AIRASE® 5500 Defoamer is a slightly hazy, low odor, and low viscosity liquid. Used in general industrial coatings, architectural paints, primers, printing inks, satin-gloss paints, wood coatings and clear coats. Recommended use level is 0.05-0.5%.
