AIRASE® 5400 Defoamer by Evonik is a structured siloxane defoamer suitable for a wide range of water-based applications. It is solvent- and APE-free. It is designed for applications where strong defoaming is required with good long-term persistency, especially in high shear applications. It offers low odor, opaque, and low viscosity liquid with improved pH stability. AIRASE® 5400 Defoamer is used in colorants, pigment concentrates, semi-gloss and gloss paints, spray as well as roll coat applied coatings, primers and printing inks. Recommended usage level is 0.05-0.5%.
