AIRASE® 4500 by Evonik is an effective defoamer concentrate based on organic
polymer technology. Offers good balance of effectiveness and compatibility. It does not contains mineral oil, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) or alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs).
- It is an easy-to-handle liquid and exhibits low viscosity.
- Typical applications include water-based overprint varnishes (OPV) and industrial as well as architectural paints.
- Its recommended usage level is between 0.2 and 1% of total formulation weight.
- Complies with European regulations such as Swiss ordinance SR 817.023.21 (contains substances from lists A and B), German BfR XXXVI- paper and board for food contact.
- AIRASE® 4500 complies with US FDA 21CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, 176.180, 176.200, and 176.210.
