ACEMATT® HK 440 by Evonik is an untreated, extremely coarse particle sized
precipitated silica based matting agent. It offers high matting efficiency, transparency, viscosity, smoothness/haptic and sedimentation behavior. It possesses very low sheen. It is especially recommended for basecoats, thick-film
applications and general industrial coatings. ACEMATT® HK 440 is compatible with high solids, pigmented coatings, solvent borne and partly compatible with radiation-curing and 2-pack coatings. It is used in coil coatings, architectural paints and floor coatings. Recommended usage level is 1.5-5%. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
