Forton® VF-812 by EPS is a water based, self cross-linking, acrylic copolymer emulsion which is the basis of the Forton Modified Gypsum system. Offers reduction of water permeability and improves work ability, surface hardness and chip resistance. It is lightweight, non-toxic, strong and water-resistant. Provides quick demolding times and wide variety of surface finishes. When combined with specific alpha semi-hydrate gypsums and dry melamine resin, Forton® VF-812 at proper loadings, results in a product suitable for interior and exterior use. Recommended for concrete, exterior wall, masonry/stucco applications. It meets with the requirements of Class I, UBC Building Code with a low smoke rating.
