Thixcin® GR

Thixcin® GR by Elementis is non-discoloring, inorganically modified derivative of castor oil-based rheological additive for solvent-based systems. It offers reduced tendency for lumping and easy dispersion. It provides viscosity, thixotropy and sag control without impairing flow and leveling, and pigment suspension.

• It gives very good package stability.
• Applications include solvent-free epoxy systems, architectural finishes, stains, gelcoats and surfacers based on unsaturated polyesters and underbody coatings.
• The typical use level of Thixcin® GR is 0.4-1.5% by weight.
• It has a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture.
