THIXATROL® PM 8056

THIXATROL® PM 8056 by Elementis is a 100% active, cost-effective, seed resistant rheological additive. It is a highly effective organic thixotrope for solvent-borne and high solids systems. It offers high viscosity, thixotropy and thick layer sag control in high build systems that contain little solvent or are solvent-free.

• It allows low-temperature activation, processing and packaging.
• It is highly active at low loading levels.
• It provides broad compatibility to various solvents.
• It exhibits no inter-coat adhesion problems when overcoated with a topcoat and no negative influence on corrosion properties.
• It possesses excellent mix (stress) stability of finished paint systems.
• It is used in inks, corrosion protective 2C epoxy primers, two-component PU topcoats & epoxy systems as well as industrial coatings.
• THIXATROL® PM 8056 has a shelf life of 4 years.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.5-2.0%.
