Defom 3500 by Elementis is a silicone-free bubble releasing and anti-foaming agent for solvent-based and solvent-free systems, especially in de-aeration of
high filler content wood primer. It inhibits foaming in wood primer containing zinc stearate. It provides excellent anti-foaming and good air-releasing effect in hand brushing application.
- It exhibits excellent wetting and reduce pinhole in porous substrates such as wood and paper.
- It is used N/C lacquer, PU primer, paints and inks.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% based on total formulation.
- Defom 3500 has a shelf life of 2 years.
