Defom 3200 by Elementis is a silicone-free bubble releasing and anti-foaming agent for solvent-based and solvent-free system. To prevents formation of bubble or foam during the paint mixing, pumping and application (spray, dipping, curtain coating). It also enhances the entrapped air to migrate to the surface of coating film.
- It improves wetting of coatings on porous substrates such as paper or wood and reduces remainders of bubble in the film.
- It exhibits good anti-foaming, good wettability and de-gassing.
- It is used in N/C lacquer, baking paints, acrylic lacquer, epoxy coatings, unsaturated polyester coatings and inks.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% based on total formulation.
- Defom 3200 has a shelf life of 18 months.
