Bengel® 828

Bengel® 828 by Elementis is a super dispersible rheological additive for medium to high polarity solvent-based systems such as ketones, esters, glycol ethers, ether esters, alcohol. It is cost-effective organic derivative of a bentonite clay.

• It is easy to incorporate, even at less than optimum dispersion conditions.
• It exhibits greater manufacturing flexibility & efficiency and increase productivity.
• It eliminates need of pregel and polar activator and provides good sag control and pigment suspension.
• It performs well in paint systems of polyesters and epoxy as binder and with combination of solvents like PM acetate, n-butanol, MEK, xylene and solvesso type solvents.
• For systems with high demand of anti settling, such as zinc rich primer, it works synergistically with M-P-A anti settling additives.
• It is used in polyester baking enamel, 2K epoxy marine, heavy duty industrial paint systems.
• Recommended dosage is 0.2-2.0% by weight of the system.
• Bengel® 828 has a shelf life of 4 years.
